Philadelphia Phillies Defeat Florida Marlins In 10 Innings
The Florida Marlins couldn’t catch a break in the late stages of Thursday night’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies extended their win streak to four games as they try to regain the lead in the National League East. MLB betting trends have favored Philadelphia as they have won 12 out of their last 14.
Gaby Sanchez cam to the plate in the bottom of the ninth with a chance to drive home the winning run. The first baseman hit a bouncing ball down the third base line that umpire Bob Davidson called foul. A replay clearly showed the ball land in fair territory behind the base.
